FADAM actively participated as a partner in the CONFEJES Week from December 2 to 7, 2024 in Dakar, the headquarters of CONFEJES.
The International Committee of the FADAM Games (CIJFADAM) has been invited as a partner to participate in CONFEJES Week 2024 , which celebrates the 55th anniversary of CONFEJES. (Conference of Ministers of Youth and Sports of the Francophonie).
CONFEJES Week is an annual event dedicated to showcasing innovative initiatives by young entrepreneurs, celebrating sporting talent, strengthening partnerships, and promoting CONFEJES' activities. It has established itself as a key event for youth, sport, and entrepreneurship within the Francophone community.
Among the varied activities of this 2024 edition, which took place from December 2 to 7, 2024 in Dakar, the institution's headquarters, CIJFADAM participated in the inauguration of the Entrepreneurship and Digital Fair, in referee training and in a major seminar on gender equality in sport bringing together national correspondents and the CONFEJES Women's Advisory Working Group, who shared their visions and experiences for a more inclusive future of sport.

How can we maximize the benefits of sport for populations around the world?
This crucial question was at the heart of discussions during the Dakar Sport Summit , where the International Committee of the FADAM Games participated at the invitation of CONFEJES. With recent major events such as the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, the BRICS 2024 Games, the Francophonie Games, and the upcoming Dakar 2026 Youth Olympic Games, this topic is more relevant than ever and is central to the concerns of the FADAM Games.
Training for technical officials
Following this inspiring summit, CIJFADAM also participated in the launch ceremony for the technical officials training programs of the Senegalese Handball Federation , organized by CONFEJES. These training programs represent a concrete step towards developing sport in regions rich in talent but sometimes limited in resources. The International Committee of the FADAM Games reaffirmed that sport is one of the most powerful drivers of social, cultural, and economic development.

Closing Gala
The closing gala of CONFEJES Week brought together high-ranking figures, including the Secretary General of CONFEJES, the President of CIJFADAM, the representative of the Prime Minister of Senegal, the Minister of Youth, Sports and Culture of Senegal, as well as Ambassadors and officials from Francophonie member countries. Among the highlights of the event, FADAM presented a spectacular Shaolin Kung Fu demonstration by a Senegalese troupe, a member of CIJFADAM. In his address, the President of CIJFADAM emphasized the urgent need to promote sport, particularly martial arts and combat sports, in Francophone countries. This vision also encompasses culture, education, and youth, essential pillars for building a better future.
CIJFADAM welcomes this valuable collaboration with CONFEJES and is convinced that this partnership will help achieve the common goals of both organizations: to promote youth through sport, culture and the values of the Francophonie throughout the world.
