March 21st will forever be remembered as a turning point for martial arts in the heart of France's capital, Paris . Between high-level demonstrations and intergenerational exchange, FADAM co-organized the celebration of the very first International Tai Chi Day. This historic event marks a major milestone for sports diplomacy and the unity of peoples through martial arts.

A Prestigious Partnership for a World Premiere


Under the impetus of the FADAM International Games Committee , this celebration brought together leading institutional players: the Chinese Cultural Center in Paris, the China Center for Cultural and Tourism Exchange with Foreign Countries and Beijing Sport University .


This event illustrated the strength of the FADAM movement : using sport as a lever for peace and rapprochement between civilizations.


Excellence in Martial Arts Demonstration


The audience was thrilled by the agility of the Black and White Troupe and the technical excellence of the four athletes from Peking University. These demonstrations illustrated the duality between the explosive power of Kung Fu and the serene fluidity of Tai Chi.

  • Master Dominique Saatenang , President of FADAM, emphasized the importance of this historic first. He recalled that the organization's values— unity, inclusion, and cultural diversity —find a universal echo in Tai Chi.


  • Mr. Zhang , representative of the Chinese Cultural Center in Paris, expressed his pride in seeing Tai Chi inscribed as an international day, reinforcing its global reach.


  • Mr. Wu Dong , Professor at Beijing Sport University, shared his expertise on the profound benefits of Tai Chi for the balance of body and mind.


Speeches delivered by the President of FADAM, the representative of the Chinese Cultural Center and a professor from Beijing Sport University.


Fraternity and Transmission: An Exceptional Introductory Workshop


The unity was solidified during an introductory workshop open to all , a highlight of the day. Led by the four athletes from Beijing Sport University , this workshop provided a unique immersion experience.


Bringing together participants of all ages and skill levels, this direct exchange with high-ranking experts fostered genuine cultural transmission. For FADAM , this success reinforces its mission to promote diversity and perpetuate the values of martial arts within an international and supportive framework, a vehicle for universal fraternity where every individual, regardless of their origin, finds their place.
